Multi-Point Inspection Overview
HondaTrue Certified+ models, which are 2023 or 2024 models with less than 12,000 miles, go through an extensive 182-point inspection. This is completed by our trained and certified Honda technicians. You’ll receive a downloadable vehicle inspection report with your purchase for you to review.
Initial Inspection
We start by carefully checking the exterior of the vehicle from the hood to the bumper. If a vehicle has any structural or unibody damage, it isn’t eligible for certification. We also don’t consider vehicles that have aftermarket parts installed. Next, we’ll carefully review the cabin, as well as check its functional parts, such as your seat belts and headrests.
Feature Functionality
The technology in Honda vehicles is state-of-the-art, so we also want to make sure that everything is working as it should. We check your infotainment system, including navigation and entertainment features, if applicable. We also check your interior systems, such as your air conditioning and defroster, to ensure they’re working appropriately.
Road Test
Even if everything looks great, we still want to see how the vehicle performs. Our technicians take each CPO vehicle on a road test, checking every system carefully. We want to make sure that it drives just like a new model.
